Brescia
: old city in Lombardia
Brescia
develops during the Roman age, at the base of the Cidneo Hill,
on which a temple was erected.
The
city immediately became of a great importance, and Augusto
emperor gave her the name of "Augusta Civic Colony".
Given its
geographical position, at the center of highway crossings,
and crossed by transalpine routes, Brescia found its commercial
and economic development, also thanks to the presence of nearby
iron and stone mines
Brescia
is a rich cultural city, easily found in buildings and churchs,
in its wide plazas with important historic and artistic monuments,
and in the richness of the pictorial expressions of a historical
narration that can be found along its streets and plazas.
Today,
Brescia is one of the most important industrial zones of Italy.
A diffuse managerial reality is present, today more than in
the past, made of small and medium dynamic enterprises, that
can easily set themselves to the pace of a rapid developing
market, technologically advance, and used to confront themselves
on the international market.
