New robotized glazing
unit commercialisation.
The Garoll robotized
glazing unit is reaching an advanced stage of commercialisation.
The machine is capable of glazing 400 pieces per shift with mixed
production (closets, bidets, washbasins and cisterns with or without
lids).
The system is based on a new plant concept which uses modularity
and integrability of the various components to allow maximum flexibility
to be combined with total automation of the process. The main components
of the unit are:
- input accumulation
chain conveyor which uses a feeding accumulation system between
manual inspection of the pieces and robotized operations for loading,
unloading, trap glazing and piece spraying in order to optimise
the line;
- piece
inspection station equipped with inspection booth, automatic
piece rotation turret, automatico 2-axis centering device and code
setting panel;
- robotized glazing
booth loading and unloading unit with trap glazing equipment;
- robotized glazing station complete with glazing booth with automatic
doors and extraction outlet with filters, IRB-540
painting robot with CP functions, GDS
(Glaze Dosing System) with mass flow meter. The station is also
equipped with another major advance in Garoll technology, a 2-position
glazing turret with self-cleaning support made of porous resin;
- outfeed belt conveyor with automatic foot cleaning device for
glazed pieces.
