GAROLL AND VAAL: AN
EVEN STRONGER TECHNICAL PARTNERSHIP.
The
technical cooperation relations between the well-known South African
company and Garoll S.r.l. have been more strengthened thanks to
the new supply Garoll has recently made.
The
supply, which consists of an HPC-201/170
high-pressure casting machine, for two-part mould sanitary ware,
determines the completion of a production unit of two twin machines
and a robot, as it is in Garoll's tradition. The new machine has
been supplied with a
2-cavity mould for the production of wash basins, a 4-cavity mould
for pedestals and a 3-cavity mould for urinals. The existing machine
has been destined, as it was before, to the production of solid
cast wash basins and tanks.
The high grade of diversification of obtainable product types, which
can be reached by installing on a single machine different moulds,
gives an interesting pay-back time to the production level of the
plant. This production flexibility is also maximized by using the
well-known Fast-in insterts (Garoll patent), the easy and fast mould
fixing system to the machine's mould frames, which allow for fast
change of moulds without the loss of time nor production. The existence
of a pre-drying conveyor gives the possibility to the unit of future
implementation of an automatic pieces' fettling station.
