HARSA UPDATES ITS HIGH-PRESSURE
CASTING UNIT.
Harsa
Sanitary Ware of Beer Sheva (Israel), has confirmed its existing
technical partnership with Garoll, of Travagliato (Brescia, Italy),
for the supply of a new HPC-201/90
high-pressure casting machine, which will be destined to the production
of wash basins. The new machine will join the existing one, which
is successfully producing other kind of wash
basins with excellent results. The two machines work in combination
with a robot that, thanks to the use of different demoulding tools,
performs its primary activity of demoulding cast pieces from the
machines. The high-casting unit HPC-201 is dedicated to the production
of sanitary ware obtained with 2-part moulds and, like all HPC machines,
also 201 uses the deformation closure control, which limits to the
minimum the deformation of the mould's closing surfaces, needed
also to held the mould together. Moreover, the high-pressure casting
plant HPC-201 presents limited space usage with relation to the
production volume obtained.
