New relevant supply
for Garoll.
A
new supply for high-pressure casting machinery was recently undersigned
between Garoll and an important portuguese company.
The agreement undersigned regards the supply of an AP-SR1 high-pressure
casting unit for stick-on-rim closets. This new unit will be handed
in by the end of July, and will produce two different models of
6-parts stick-on-rim closets.
The AP-SR1 unit consists of two twin HPC-402 double cavity machines
and an HPC-201/170 machine. The first two cast the body part of
the closets, while the last casts the rims. The unit is subordinated
by the use of two IRB 6650/3.2-125 robots. The first will operate
automatically during the following phases: demoulding of the rims,
sticking slip
distribution, demoulding of the body parts on the rim from the closer
moulds of the HPC-402 machines, removal of excess water from the
closets. The second robot will undergo the following phases in an
automatic cycle: demoulding of the closets' bodies on the rims from
the nearer moulds of the HPC-402 machines, positioning of the pieces
on the pre-drying rack, taking and positioning of the pieces on
the first fettling turret (on rim), rotation of the pieces after
a pre-drying period of about two hours, unloading of the pieces
on the exit accumulation conveyor for following manual white fettling
operations and the next drying phase of the sanitaryware production
process.
Garoll's AP-SR1 assertion in the sanitaryware production field continues,
being the former an inseparable union of quality, efficiency and
high production rates.
