GAROLL HANDS IN TWO CASTING PLANTS IN TURKEY.

It's about to come to an end the assembly of two low-pressure casting plants LEM-88E2, casting plants that allow the casting of 176 closets in two shifts. The plants will be delivered to Kalevit of Istanbul, Turkey.
The type of pieces that can be produced with this plant, are open-rim wc's, box-rim with inserts, wall-hung box-rim wc's and bidets.
The two daily casting are made possible thanks to the use of a mould dryer directly assembled on the casting bench.
To this last, a LEM-48RA, indispensable manipulator, is put aside. The manipulator performs in an automatic way the demoulding of the pieces and their successive positioning on the conveyor without any manual intervention by the operator in charge of the line.
The most peculiar characteristics of the plant are:
- possibility of casting on the moulds on their foot or on the rim. The casting on the rim is the most used, since it guarantees a higher quality and greater production rates.
- Upturning of the moulds and demoulding of the pieces in a completely automatic way.
- Possibility of casting for two shifts.
Besides, the system allows the contemporaneous filling of all the moulds thanks to the BPS system (Balanced Pressure System), a slip distribution ring supplied with balance butterfly valves divided into independent sections.
