Design and making of moulds
The
resin moulds are the key to the successful operation of the
pressure casting plant.
The
experience of GAROLL technicians in the design, construction
and utilization of those moulds, allows us to guarantee the
operation for a minimum of 20.000 casts.
Furthermore the moulds are equipped with all the automatic
devices for all the punching of the piece: wall fixing holes,
outlet and even the overflow hole is obtained by means a fully
automatic telescopic device.
Single
and multi cavity moulds are available for the production of
lavatory basins, counter tops, pedestals, tanks, lids, accessories
and any product which can be produced from two piece moulds.
MOULD
FEATURES
· Porous structure able to guarantee excellent performances
in the high pressure casting of sanitary wares in solid and
hollow cast.

High mechanical strength for the application in the high pressure
casting (up to 18 bar)

Closing surfaces specifically designed to guarantee excellent
mould seal (even if very complex) and very small seams.
·
Internal distribution chain for water and air from the pressure
casting machine to the mould internal surface. This circuit
is carried out in such a way as to guarantee an uniform distribution
of the piece detaching airall over the piece forming surface
ensuring secure detachment without any deformation

Resin moulds, after their casting, are machined in order to
obtain exact external dimensions with restricted tolerances.
That ensures the moulds interchangeability, speeding up the
mould changing operation
·
ANTI-CORRODAL anodized and machined aluminum plates which
represent the connection manifold with the pressure casting
machine.
Those aluminum plates can be reutilize for the construction
of the substitutive mould.

Inactive surfaces painting with insulating material.
