GDS (Glaze Dosing System) serves to automatically control glaze flow rate according to the value supplied to the gun and read by an instrument.

Furthermore, GDS has a built-in analogic system for controlling atomising and fan of guns on the Robot’s wrist – this makes it possible to use different values for these parameters both during programming and production.

GDS Glaze Dosing System
This system providing loop control of flow rate regulates pressure of glaze supplied to the guns according to the mass flow value read by the instrument, and is able to compensate any variations of viscosity, specific weight and temperature so that glaze flow rate is maintained at the value used during programming.

GDS consists of:
· Pneumatic proportional valve controlling glaze pressure
· An instrument for measuring instantaneous mass flow of glaze.
· Hardware and software for integrated control directly inside the electrical panel.

Analogic control for gun atomisation and fan
This system provides analogic control of atomisation and fan for the two pistols installed on the Robot, by using 3 proportional valves.
The programmer can select from among 8 different combinations (see below) for every robot program code:
- Glaze flow rate
- Atomisation for gun1
- Fan for pistol 1
- Atomisation/Fan for gun 2
