Chamber dryer with PDS system

The PDS (Pulse Drying System) chamber dryer is innovative in the delicate stage of drying sanitary ware ceramic products. The appliance's feature is the system with push-button for recirculating air inside the dryer. It guarantees optimum air distribution in the drying chamber and correct ventilation of the pieces located on the trolleys.

    ESSENTIAL DRYER COMPONENTS

The PDS System (Pulse Drying System) is split into two independent sections each consisting of:

  • A hot air generation unit with built-in ventilators ensuring more than 250 complete air changes per hour.
  • A channelling system with automated gates, making it possible to reverse the pick-up and delivery of air among the 2 sections respectively located on the right and left side. The set of gates, which is the fulcrum of the Garoll PDS system, exploits speed control and air flow alternation between the 2 sections, maintaining high air speeds and, therefore, rapid, uniform drying cycles.
  • A control system which manages some of the basic parameters of the Garoll PDS, including pulsation frequency (time interval between one flow exchange and the next), air speed in the various pulsation stages, and of the drying cycle.
  • Two air distribution channels, located on the two top sides of the chamber, to create a connection between the hot air generation unit, the ventilators and the distribution plenum.
  • Two Sets of plenums for air distribution: these distribution panels are designed to guarantee constant air flow in every zone of the wall - the flow is through small holes.

The following systems complete the dryer: air temperature and humidity control, humid air extraction and control of the appliance.
